The People Behind Move
Move Ilkley is built on real relationships. We're a small team — and that's entirely intentional. When you walk through our door, you'll always be greeted by someone who knows your name, your goals, and where you're at.
Meet the Coaches
Between us we bring years of coaching experience, genuine expertise, and a lot of enthusiasm for helping people move well.
Jess is one of the driving forces behind Move Ilkley — she brought the vision, the warmth, and the relentless enthusiasm that makes this place what it is.
I'm a mum of three, a qualified nurse, and a passionate fitness instructor dedicated to helping people feel their best both physically and mentally. My background in healthcare has given me a deep understanding of the importance of overall wellbeing, while my own experiences as a mother have shown me firsthand the challenges that can come with pregnancy, childbirth, and finding your confidence again afterwards. I know what it feels like to lose your mojo and how empowering it can be to regain strength, energy, and self-belief. That's why I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and judgement-free environment where evervone feels welcome, regardless of their fitness level or stage of life. Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, boost your mental wellbeing, rebuild your confidence after pregnancy, or simply take some time for yourself, I'm here to support and motivate you every step of the way. My goal is to help you become stronger, healthier, and happier while enjoying the journey. 💪 ✨
I’ve always loved keeping fit and pushing myself — it’s just part of who I am. As a mum of three, I know better than anyone how hard it is to carve out time for yourself. But I also know how much it’s worth it when you do. My passion is helping people build real confidence through getting stronger. Strength training is something I’m a huge advocate for — the results speak for themselves, and that goes for every stage of life.
I’ve been through the seasons where fitness slips down the list, where motivation is nowhere to be found and life just gets in the way. That’s exactly why I focus on building genuine relationships with the people I train. Sessions here are challenging, yes — but they’re also something you’ll actually look forward to. We build things gradually, at your pace, and for that hour? It’s just about you.
With a love for football, fitness is a part of me it’s in my blood ever since I was young. As I grew up I started to find different ways to push my limits and help me to become a well rounded athlete not just a good footballer. From jumping 55 inch boxes to benching over 100kg and brutal circuits, fitness is my thing.
My ambition is to help inspire other people to take that step to improve their lifestyle and push their limits. My sessions are designed to challenge yourself to the max, no matter whether it’s 6am on a Monday morning or an evening after work. Just know I don’t let anyone off easy. Always be 1% better than yesterday.
